What makes Myspace so addicting?

What is so special about myspace that makes it so addicting (regardless i found my fabulous BF on it)? Why not use something else like Yuwie, Facebook, or MyYearbook et cetera?

What makes Myspace so addicting?
I think it is because you have more choice on there, like a custom background and such, whereas on the other sites, alot of things are chosen for you, minus the information about self. PLus on myspace, you can talk to just about any type of person and make new friends. It's like a new email account, you must check every day to see who messaged, commented, or added you. It's also made many musicians popular and you can even post videos on there too, like youtube. Also, theres music, movies, and networking.
Reply:MySpace just has so many more things than all the others. The ability to make your page look anyway you want it to, music and videos on profiles plus it's just so incredibly popular, that's where EVERYONE is at.
Reply:theres more people on myspace.

theres more stuff to do

you can decorate ur page how you want it,

its fun.

=D
Reply:The only reason most people have Myspace is because their friends %26amp; everyone they know have Myspace. It has always been open to anyone and everyone with little restriction. Since Facebook was not open to the general public initially, (only to college students) it missed out the initial social networking boom. Now that Facebook is available to everyone and has a open API, it's taken a lot of the thunder away Myspace.
